Salt Media makes illustrated stories inspired by old philosophical and spiritual traditions. We begin with ordinary difficulties: an uncertain outcome, an exchange that lingers, the pressure to do everything right.
We want the story to be enjoyable in its own right—and to offer a question worth carrying into the day. Your own response matters; there is no single required conclusion.
Our four recurring characters are fictional. Master Water and Pebble open a door into Taoist stories; Master Ease and Baggy explore Buddhist teachings. Each tradition keeps its own sources and context.
The films use AI-generated voices. Our modern dialogue and situations are identified as adaptations, alongside links to the original texts.
